Release Date: February 15, 1985
I have a weird affinity for this film though I haven't seen it in ages. When I was a kid (I guess I would have been 12 when I saw this) I escaped life by watching movies and we had a dollar theater where movies were only a buck so I went a lot. One day I went and having seen everything else, I went to this, despite my better judgement. I was the only person in the entire theater. In a small town in the '80s theaters were usually quite busy and this theater on this night was pretty much packed out in the lobby, but I was the only one watching this movie, which should tell you something. I enjoyed being by myself at a movie so much I saw it 3 more times before it left the theater and was by myself 2 of those and only like 1 couple at the other. As for the movie, it is cheesy, has bad dialogue, terrible dancing, and god-awful costumes. A main premise is a group of people teaching a white girl to breakdance. It is terrible. Why do I love it so much?
Rewatchability: Low (although I watch it a lot back in 1985)
